WebworkGIF Animation

The GIF image format has the capability of containing multiple images and displaying them in a sequence - allowing the creation of simple animations within web pages without the need for browser plug-ins or helper applications.

To make one of these animations, you need first to make the series of individual files in Photoshop or any other application that allows you to generate images that can be converted to GIF format:

clock1.gif (6k) clock2.gif (6k) clock3.gif (6k) clock4.gif (6k)

These files are imported into a GIF animation app such as GifBuilder (for Mac) or the GIF Construction Set (for Windows) which joins them into a single animated file:

clockanima.gif (41k)
