Though I have tried to make these pictures as clear as possible, they have confused some people. The important thing to remember is that there are two retainers and that you have to flip up the one for the row you are putting the terminal in.

So this install stalled for a while while I tried to find a replacement terminal. No luck. Same with buying just the wiring harness.

So, to get the job done, I had to open up the security system module and tap into the pin that the broken terminal would have connected with. (No one reading this will have to do this because they will have flipped up the correct retainer in the first place - right?)
Security System p2
The 22-pin connector located near the keyless entry unit
22-pin connector with blue tape removed and retainer flipped up Inserting the security system harness terminal into the 22-pin connector: NOTE THAT I HAVE THE TOP RETAINER FLIPPED UP BUT AM ATTEMPTING TO PUT THE TERMINAL IN THE BOTTOM ROW - NOT GOOD.   Harness terminal will not insert and repeated attempts result in broken terminal. Why? The instructions don't indicate that the illustration of the "retainer" and the one of the "connector location" are rotated 180 degrees from each other... and there are actually 2 retainers. Open the wrong one and you are basically forcing a square peg into a round hole. On with the install... Ignore the presence of this "Screw-up Fix Connector" in the subsequent photos - it is only there in my install. Add the wiring harness ground connector to the swarm of connectors already at the ground point. Plug in all connectors, re-mount the keyless entry bracket and wire-tie down anything that could possible rattle. Once everything's in place, reconnect the battery negative terminal, reprogram your receiver (man, does that get old quick) and reprogram your drivers window auto feature - see PDF.
