Why Shoreline Mist? Well, I wanted Galapagos Green but didn't like the green rubber dashboard. Same prob with Eternal Blue. To get a neutral interior, the choices were Shoreline Mist, Sunset Orange or Nighthawk Black. |

I didn't want black because I like the contrast of the dark plastic body panels against the lighter painted metal. To my eye, that's what gives the Element its "character." |

Sunset Orange is pretty cool but I'm way more into the "utility" than the "sports" of this SUV. Same reason I prefer the look of the steel wheels to that of the alloys - so I downgraded. |

Yeah, I know they're ugly but they're ugly in a no-nonsense, jungle-safari/desert-excursion kind of way. The alloys are just too disco for a working vehicle like this. (IMHO, of course.) |

How I'd like it to be:
About 8" less tall with removable back windows & roof (kind of like a Wrangler that runs)
