Carpeted Floor Mats   Though I think carpeted floor mats are kind of contrary to the utilitarian nature of the Element, I put them in because the bare floors are incredibly slippery when you've got snow on your shoes.   Note that the carpet has some turquoise color in it (presumably so it will match blue, green or neutral interiors). I was suspicious of this at first but it looks great installed. Carpeted Floor Mat installation hardware Front Mat Rear Mat   Bump beneath front seats indicating where the anchor points are. There are three of these. Surgical removal of bump. Hole for self-tapping screw revealed. Anchor installed. Carpet mat grommet hooked on anchor. Three grommets; three anchors. Rear mat installed.
