Internet Spelling Guide, Part 3
There vs. They're vs. Their vs. Thier

There vs. They're vs. Their vs. Thier

Their house is over there.
They're going to their house.
There is only one way to get there.

Spelling their correctly (not thier) is a different problem. Unfortunately, it's one of those words that, as you stare at it for a while, looks wrong with either spelling.

Think: er = error
their = correct
thier = error

Loose vs. Lose | Separate vs. Seperate | There vs. They're vs. Their vs. Thier | It's vs. Its | Lay vs. Lie
